I feel all things good and true evolve over time. This is exactly what happened to me.
Imagine if you will, 1989. I was a stay at home Mom with my 3 beautiful daughters. A beautiful life if you will. Except for one thing, the pink ruffled priscella curtains that hung on every window in our new home. Day in and day out I would have to endure the agony of a designless choice that I didn’t make. It’s enough to push anyone over the edge.
After ripping the curtains down, I began the design process to create something beautiful and functional. My inner designer came out and I realized that I had a passion for creating beautiful well-coordinated spaces.
Thus Interior Views was born so that I could share my passion for interior decorating and window treatments with others.
I started with creating my own design products by hand in my workroom. In an effort to enhance what I was already doing, I completed some design classes at Hennepin Country Technical College to expand my skills with draperies and valences. In 1991, I began working in a local furniture store to become more familiar with home furnishings and fabrics.
I’m confident that after 25 years in the home decorating industry I can help you create a space you’ll love.
